You may be wondering, “What ever happened to those tanks that Blended Waxes installed back in 2014?” Well, we have an update for you! Our new tanks were successfully installed and are working great.

1. The tanks are only a year old, so they are in pristine condition. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, they are extremely efficient in holding large quantities of wax.

2. New tanks allow us to keep more wax in our inventory. We need a place to store our wax as production has increased, and now we have one!

3. The tanks can pump wax to and from anywhere in the plant including loading stations and rail spurs.

Our tanks have also been fitted with sensors, so the liquid level in each tank can be monitored by our computers. They have also been insulated and clad. These tanks are HUGE, measuring at 12 feet in diameter and 18 feet tall. Each tank holds about 15,250 gallons of wax.

All-in-all, these tanks have given us the ability to keep a steady flow of wax available for our customers.
