Blended Waxes uses a variety of standards and certifications to ensure we produce wax blends that meet the highest standards.
ASTM Standards
ASTM stands for American Society of Testing and Materials. ASTM sets standards for use in manufacturing around the world. There are more than 12,000 standards used currently; these are set to help manufacturers stay up to date with their methods.
We use ASTM standards to ensure consistent quality wax blends with desired properties, characteristics and results needed.
ISO Certification
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent organization that develops and creates international standards that give specifications for products, services and systems to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
Providing consistent, high-quality products is our top priority. We were recently certified for the ISO 9001: 2015 standard, which ensures our customers always receive the best products for their application. The ISO 9001 standard focuses on the customer and exceeding customer expectations.
It requires that we create a quality management system documenting the processes for providing customers with products that meet their requirements. Throughout the year internal audits are conducted on the processes to ensure they are meeting ISO requirements. Each year Blended Waxes is audited by an ISO 9001 accredited body, and every three years they conduct recertification audits.
Blended Waxes has been ISO 9001 certified since 2007. We are continually looking to expand and improve on our quality system.
