Blended Waxes Celebrates 40 Years In Business

Dear Blended Waxes Blog Readers,

On May 1, 1976, Clarence Gereau installed a few tanks in a former brewery building on the south side of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and blended a wax coating for a cheese manufacturer and proudly announced, “We’re open for business!”

Clarence’s passion and guts to strike out on his own gave us the privilege and responsibility to continue to grow the business today. Today, Paul Gereau, Clarence’s son, and Bob Coglianese, Clarence’s CPA, steer our ship.

We’re very proud to maintain a vision for the future of our employees, customers, vendors and lenders. While Clarence passed away in July 1996, we strongly believe his presence remains, and we’re here to pay it forward.

Today, we ship various blends of waxes, wax emulsions and synthetic lubricants for users throughout the world. We have ongoing investments in manufacturing technology; quality standards; research and development; and safety, health and the environment. We continue to attract new customers and reliable vendors.

During this month of celebration, we’ll continue to update our website visitors with news of our history, present and future. Stay tuned for more!
