Different industries require their wax blends in specific formats. As a wax manufacturer, it is important for us to have the ability to offer a variety of options to meet each company’s requirements. Read on to learn about three of the format options we offer.

1. Pastilles

Pastilles are small beads of wax, created using our rotoformer to its uniform shape. Microcrystalline wax is commonly sold in this form. Pastilles are ideal for handling, blending, storing and further processing.

2. Slabs

We process wax slabs into a uniform block measuring 19 inches long, 12 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall. Each slab weighs approximately 10 to 11 pounds. Most of our artisan waxes, including cheese wax and candle wax, are sold in this format.

3. Liquid

For some industries, liquid waxes are preferred as they are easy to handle, ship in large volumes and are typically lower in cost because they do not require packaging materials. Liquid waxes are shipped via tank truck or railcar.
