Posted: February 22, 2019

Letter sealing wax gives letters and invitations a unique finish. Check out our top three tips for using this wax to seal the deal on your letters:

Letter sealing

1. Hot Glue Gun

Our letter sealing wax is sold in stick form. The sticks fit perfectly in a hot glue gun, which heats the wax and makes it simple to apply to your letter. The glue gun helps control where you place the wax.

2. Sealing

Once you place the wax on the letter using the glue gun, it is time to seal. Moving quickly to place the seal in the wax is important because you don’t want the wax to harden. Press straight down into the wax with the sealer, and let it sit for a few moments to leave an impression.

3. Creativity

Letter sealing waxes are available in a variety of colors and finishes to truly customize your letter or invitation. Choose from metallic, pearl or solid finishes ranging in colors from fuchsia to aqua.

I am looking for wax to seal the top of a wine bottle using a glue gun. Not looking for a complete dip, just a wax button. What type of wax should be used?

We would recommend using our Letter Sealing Wax. The wax is shaped to fit perfectly into a standard sized glue gun.

Hello! We also want to use the letter sealing wax for the very top of a wine bottle. Do you know where we can get a custom sealer with our logo on it so that we can see it at the top of the bottle? Thanks!
