Blended Waxes, Inc. was founded by Clarence Gereau in 1976. The business has been at the same location in Oshkosh, Wis. for almost 40 years! The space was previously home to The Peoples Brewing Company.

Over the years, Blended Waxes has made changes to and expanded the building, but some of the brewery still remains. The photos below show the brewery then and Blended Waxes now. Our on-site laboratory (shown below on the right) is where the brewery once bottled its beer.

When Blended Waxes first started, it focused on cheese waxes and hot melt adhesives. Today we still manufacture and customize many different cheese waxes (after all, we are in the dairy state), but over the years we have evolved into a full-service custom blend facility. Our company is deeply rooted in the great city of Oshkosh, so if you’re ever in the neighborhood, drive past to see part of Oshkosh’s history. Or if you ever venture out in Downtown Oshkosh, stop by the historic building that is now home to the Algoma Club and have a seat at the bar, which was once located in the tap room at The Peoples Brewing Co.
