How To Guide: Letter Sealing Wax
Letter sealing wax gives letters and envelopes a unique finish. Our letter sealing waxes are available in a wide variety of colors and finishes, including metallic and pearl. Follow this guide to learn how to use letter sealing wax.
Step One: Gather Your Supplies
You’ll need a few supplies to easily apply letter sealing wax. You’ll need:
- Sealing sticks
- Hot glue gun
- Seals
- Envelopes
We’ve found using a basic hot glue gun to apply the wax is easiest. Our letter sealing wax is sold in stick form to easily fit in a hot glue gun.
Step Two: Apply The Wax
Insert the letter sealing wax into the hot glue gun, and let it heat up. Once the wax is hot, apply a small amount of the wax to the envelope seal.
Step Three: Seal
Don’t let the hot wax cool for too long before sealing. Use the seal tool to press straight down into the hot wax. Let the seal sit for a few moments in the wax to leave an impression.
